CHLOROPHYLL A+CHLOROPHYLL B+CHLOROPHYLLIN

WITH VITAMIN A AND CHLORELLA

Chlorophyll is the green pigment in plants that is fundamental for photosynthesis. It acts as a photoreceptor and transforms sunlight into usable energy. Chlorophyll’s structure is similar to that of blood except that the central atom is Magnesium instead of Iron. Various types of chlorophyll exist, with plants and algae containing chlorophyll A and chlorophyll B. Chlorella vulgaris, in particular, is a source of Chlorophyll A (1.5%) and Chlorophyll B (0.6%).Chlorophyllin is a water-soluble compound derived from chlorophyll that provides copper and sodium.

Uses
Chlorophyll is popularly used to help with intestinal problems, and it has been used historically for constipation. It is also considered as an internal deodorizer and is used to help reduce fecal and urine odors in cases of incontinence.
Chlorophyll has shown to act as an antioxidant against oxidative stress.Oxidative stress is the excess accumulation of free radicals.Antioxidants are substances capable of preventing or slowing down molecular damage produced by oxidative agents such as free radicals. These compounds can oxidize and modify proteins, lipids and DNA; they are generated continually by our bodies’ physiological processes and external factors such as environmental contamination, smoking, diets rich in fat, solar radiation and stress.
This pigment is useful for healing injured and sun-damaged (UV rays) skin. It also helps smooth wrinkles and improve elasticity by increasing collagen production. In this sense, vitamin A collaborates since it is necessary for maintaining the epithelial tissue and immune system. Studies exist showing that chlorophyllin helps reduce the bioavailability of certain toxins that may be present as contaminants in some foods.Specifically, it helps decrease the marker aflatoxin B1. Aflatoxins are highly toxic microtoxins that accumulate in the liver due to fungi that can contaminate primarily cereals.
Chlorophyllin contains more than 4% copper. This essential mineral is involved in collagen formation, facilitates iron absorption and is a cofactor of antioxidant enzymes. It also necessary for synthesizing blood hemoglobin.
